Cloud jungle I
The descend from the mount Elit was quite an experience. Only later our guide told us how many accidents happened on this track. We made 1000 meters down in 2 hours, while not moving more than perhaps 100 meters forward.
The kind of a pile of sticks on the bottom of the picture is a prototype Papuan ladder. It was semi-helical, extremely slippery and missed lots of steps. I took the photo while waiting for my friends to get completely down, didn’t want to fall on their heads with the whole wobbly contraption.

This forest is dence. Greatly captured.. I like when people give a story with the image. Gives seomething to relate to. The Jungle Carpet Python I have is native to this area.
