I got this shot over the Indian River Lagoon in Cocoa, Florida at believe it or not about 11pm. The lightning was strobing about every 3 seconds for about an hour, and was so bright that it made the shot look like daytime. So I got out of bed, grabbed my camera and raced to the River to get pictures of this wicked storm. They call the Space Coast of Florida the lightning capital of the world. And these nightly summertime storms are the reason.I was hand-holding since I didn’t have my tripod with me, so I sharpened just a bit in photoshop.
