Finally Getting my Dream Camera!
Hello fellow Redbubblers! I am so excited I can hardly sit still as I write this. I just finished purchasing online the camera I have been dreaming of for about two years. I can’t wait until tomorrow for it to be delivered to my door! I bought a Canon Digital Rebel Xsi with a 18-55mm IS lens and an 55-250mm IS lens. I cannot wait to get it and start shooting! So needless to say you guys will see some new work put up here soon! I am going to visit one of my favorite spots in Florida to shoot over Memorial Day Weekend so I am coming out of my skin with excitement! I am never happier than when I am behind the lens of the camera. I just thought that I would share and I welcome any tips or tricks from those of you that may already own this model of camera! I am new to the world of digital SLR and can’t wait to start learning!

I have that camera too, just got it in April 2008. I love it, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to go anywhere scenic since I got it. That’s why I have so many flower shots, LOL.

I hear you there! All I have been getting so far is animal shots, lots of bird around my house in Florida ! I can’t wait to go on vacation and get something new to look at. I have decided to try to take as many day trips as I can to other parts of Florida this summer so maybe I can get something new to shoot! I have been practicing alot of portrait photography with it, though nature photography is my real love.
