Sunset on Utah Lake in early November. We arrived at the late a little late and missed the bright orange clouds. But I did the shoot anyway. It was right at that crest before total darkness. A 7 second exposure captured this scene and I was happy with the result.
I guess I’d be dating myself if I said that I remember when there was no state park, no buildings except the Skipper Bay Boat Club and the neighborhood kids would skate on the ice of the harbor itself. Thanks again for the memories this beautiful photo evokes.

Wonderful image. Brings back a lot of memories. I grew up not 1 mile from there but haven’t been back since they made it a state park.
It’s a fun area to shoot and out on the jeti you have a 360 degree view of the entire valley surrounded by water on all sides. It’s a sweet spot!
