I too recall that first encounter: driving to the airport, filled with unimaginable anticipation. Finally, after the novel of words scent and received, I will receive your True scent (patchouli), your touch, the verdant windows into your soul, our love made concrete.
It’s only you!
You are the end all,
Be all, you are The one;
The only one, she whom I have sought forever bereft of hope that my seeking could be fulfilled so splendidly and completely.
You are the Great Comfort, the Magnificent Beauty, my Peace, my Redemption, my Queen of Queens.
It is not only your pen, which is divine; It is your You, your Soul, your Being entire!
You are my Wish, my all encompassing Desire; you are my Dream made manifest: the star, which lights my days and nights equally.
You are she by whom I am Completed, who makes me feel as if I am Whole, an entire Being, ironically and necessarily conjoined with you Entirely. (I can no longer imagine myself without you to embellish me. Who was that sharing my face and my name?)
You may place your insecurities in a coffin while in my presence, for I wrap you in the warm embrace of my love, even admiration. You are not only my eternal desire; you are my Infinity’s End. That is something on which you may count, my dear. I am so eternally yours, that eternity is too short a span to encompass this pledge.
Be at peace with me, for you have given me a peace, which I never imagined. Imagination, the God of poets: what a weak tool it has become in the presence of Our Now, Our Reality, Your Absolute Beauty.

I hope you know that I am now seriously choked up. This is simply divine. What an answer! What a lucky lady she is. :) That last line is just precious. May this love last for all eternity (i have a damned good feeling it will :) Love C xoxo
Thank you, Cristie. And, yes, this is a love that will last forever: count on it. Love, R

this is real love in all it’s intimate glory…..beautiful. xx
Thank you, Jane. Yes, this is Real Love in all of its amazing and fantastic glory. I am a blessed man. Again, thank you.

What a totally divine response – I thought HER poem was beyond beautiful, but you have been well matched! How lucky you both are and yes, I hope and believe that this is a forever love. Beautiful!
Thank you, Lianne. We do, indeed, have something very special. I am amazed everyday to wake up beside her. Where on earth did she come from? Where has she been for all of these years. Forever is something that I don’t doubt one iota, which is quite a strong statement for a skeptic such as myself. Your comments are greatly appreciated, as are those of all who have taken the time to read and comment on this piece, which has a special place in my heart.

Well…showing me up, are you? Typical. hardy-har-har. :)
You know me well enough now to know that, my scarred being as it is, tends to favor the humorous response over the sweet, and tender-beautiful; yes, K-dog is s sick puppy.
BUT…a sick puppy in love with a wonderfully, beautiful man.
All I can say is I have no other words to descibe how perfectly wonderful this poem (and every other is you’ve written for and of me/us) is; nor how much i love you.
Every word.
All of me.
For all of time – done up in ribbons, or undone to ends…
infinitely yours,
K-Dog
XOXOXO!
Kristin, you know that you are The One and only:: and forever. Really, this is a rather poor attempt to say what cannot in any way be quantified by words. I love you more than the moon and the stars. You are my muse and my love. While I rhetorically ask where you have been all of this time, I cannot be anything but thankful that WE ARE NOW! I love you, dear: to Infinity’s End. Know it! RBG

You may place your insecurities in a coffin in my presence:
Wrapped in what I hope is the warm embrace of my love, even admiration.
Be at peace with me, for you have given me a peace, which I never imagined. ……oh my, I have no words to express the beauty of this. Love, what else could it be?
Just amazing words to such a lovely woman.
A lovely woman, indeed: the loveliest.. I cannot come close to expressing everything that she has done to enrich my life. I am a very lucky man. You comments are appreciated, Erika. RBG

wow, this says it all. yay
Sorry for the delay Rubyio. Thank you for the flattering comment. How does one miss such flattery? Perhaps I mislaid my glasses. Thank you, again. Rusty

Okay i am now going in search of that love of which you write about..that is that old skool loving..that is the type of love you find in jubebox clubs with heat melting the flesh of those it come in contact with..pleasure to meet the words of the one who snagged her heart..aweome love story..awesome write..love on.
Good luck in your search, my man. Although, there was not anything near a search in this case: pure serendipity. Kat happened to comment on one of my poems, and the rest is history, many, many, hours and words of history. Finally, our words are face to face; something for which I could not be more thankful. I am humbled by all of the comments. Thank you very much, Trenchtown.

Me, too, sweet love…thanksful doesn’t even touch it; I am because of you. You know that…you saved me in every way possible.
To infinity’s end and back again,
you da one,
K (::)
You saved yourself, baby. I only happened to be the vehicle. Nonetheless, I am a very happy vehicle. Moreover, we ARE because of one another. It takes two to tango, after all.

This line –
“The only one, she I have sought forever bereft of hope that my seeking could be fulfilled so splendidly and completely” – is splendid. And I know in my heart of hearts how true it is. Blessing isn’t the word for the kind of love you two share, like I have in my life (You know!)
And Kristin is so right – YOU are because of one another. I have never been happier for you!

My dear Canadian friend, I cannot thank you enough for your praise. You could not be more correct in recognizing Kat’s line as the Truth of truth. Frankly, I have never been happier for myself, if I may say so. La vida es suenuo (pardon if this last word is misspelled.
Love, of course, RBG

speechless
how about that?
you have restored my belief in true love – long ago lost, not missed until this moment.
a genuine being-wish for your always-happiness.

I am honored HK. Allow you to affirm the existence of love beyond even the categories of truth and falsity, beyond any of the conventional categories of our relations with others. Trust me: I had no idea that this sort of experience was even a possibility. Damn, ain’t life grand.
Thank you, dear,
Rusty
