Abstract acrylic on 36″ × 24″ canvas. This piece is one if the pieces currently hanging at a show at a local restaurant. I had been reluctant to include it in the show, but it has received several compliments at the restaurant, so I though i’d share it here as well.

  • Thanks so much, and thanks for making this a favorite. I really like the way it looks in your frame. I have joined your group and will submit this to the group. This piece had been part of a recent exhibit I had at a local Italian restaurant. I happened to be at the restaurant with friends for supper while my art was on display, and our waitress was talking about how much she loved the piece, and wished she could afford it, so I gave it to her as a gift. I figured that it was “going to a good home”, and her obvious appreciation of the piece meant more to me than the money I would have received by selling it.

I sure know what you mean, so many of my originals have gone to family and friends as gifts, but nothing makes my heart sing more, then when walking in their homes and seeing them framed and proudly displayed..money can’t by me love, and I can not take them with me when i die,, so let others enjoy them is my motto,, that is why we are called “starving artists” my friend, teehee, our hearts are bigger than our bellies.. peace and love linmarie
