I really like this, speaks volumes!
complete magic. You ALWAYS bring me right back to the basics with a thud!!!! Magic … your camera is a box full of magic!!!!!!!!!!
thank you, Lois! i would love to get a better magic box, as i’m always bumping into the limitations of the one i have 0 but i’m glad you like what i manage to wring from it :)
so lovely !! truly a glorious image.
thanks, Isa! wait ’til you see the rest!
Terrific story piece! I’d love to read more about what you’ve shot. Where is this? Is it completely abandoned? You’ve done a wonderful job of lighting, comp, and dof here!
thank you, Kevin, for the kind compliments on the shot. yes, this church is completely abandoned. i have just scratched the surface of the trip, though. expect to see more soon :)
Sometimes the most compelling feelings are in life’s voids. Thanks for presenting an irresistible one….
i agree, Ted – maybe because blank stages allow us to project our own shows upon them?
Great Shot. There is so many stories in this photo.
thanks! that’s one of the things i like about abandoned buildings, and photos. they both tell stories, but not necessarily in a way that dictates what the details are.
Amazing composition! Just love this quote and title with the obvious decay of this magnificent architecture!
thanks, Joanne. i thought it kind of fitting considering my chosen subjects :)
