The banister is almost intact!
And the rest… form a tremendous symphony of decaying and living beauty.
I love your buildings , your interiors…. with or withou angels.
Rosa
blackoutangel replied
thanks, Rosa – i liked this spot quite a bit too, although it made me uneasy. there was a very heavy radiator hanging off of the wall right over my head when i took this!

blackoutangel replied
thank you – i wouldn’t walk up it either. it doesn’t really lead anywhere at this point, and is just waiting to detach itself and plunge through the floor.

Matthew, I am so happy to see your masterful doings up once again. My stream did not show me your things! Bad stream. I have been enjoying “the things we left behind.” Hope all is well. Lucinda
blackoutangel replied
thanks so much, my friend. i don’t get to come on here very often unfortunately, but it’s always nice to see you here when i do. glad you like the book too. am thinking i will end publication of it at the end of this year, so you will have a rare artifact. and i’m a big fan of those :)

sooooooooo compelling … incredible detail … amazing light!!!!!! Nelson said it right … whether you call it skin prickles or goose bumps … shivers down the spine … you’ve captured the unnamed / unseen and laid it bare for those who care to open their souls and see!!!!!!
blackoutangel replied
thanks, Lois, you always say the sweetest things. i am glad you like this one – i really put a lot of work into it and am not 100% satisfied with the result but it was as close to what i wanted as i could get, so your encouragement is appreciated.

Really grabs the eye and draws me in; what lens did you use by the way?
blackoutangel replied
thank you… just a regular kit lens as i am not a man of means. the extreme angle is due to stitching about five shots together into a pano.
