The Parisian Statue of Liberty, stands on the end of Swan Island (Île aux Cygnes) in the Seine near the Pont de Grenville. It was given to the city in 1885, by the American Community living in Paris as a gift. It faces west, towards the original Liberty in New York. It is roughly a quarter the size of its larger statue on Liberty Island, New York.
