Saw this group of elephants among trees in Tsavo National Park, Kenya grazing. Hugely impressive creatures, with their sheer size, bulk, tusks etc…..& didnt they know it! Trumpeting loudly to let all & sundry know they were tucking down to a spot of lunch on the savannah…..
Actually theres now a burgeoning elephant population in Kenya after some sterling conservation work on the ground there.
Unfortunately pole position on the poachers hitlist is now the rhino. Visited a rhino sanctuary with allegedly 60 rhino 3 yrs ago. Current population, 3.
