Sunset taken from Lossiemouth in Moray Scotland.

So this ‘photographer’ comes up behind me. We had met before so we had a little chat, as you do. He mentioned not having any ND Grads. with him so I lent him one of mine. He asked if I would mind if he went in front of me for a couple of shots. ‘No problem’ says Jim. He then preceded to step all along the light rim in the image that you see!!!! Never even noticed. Luckily I’d taken this before he came on the scene.

Every picture tells a story ;)

Stunning colours and light. Was this last night’s sunset? I was watching it from my window thinking ‘bet it’s spectacular down the beach’. And it was! :o)

  • Thanks Maggie. Yes last night :)

Very nice shot Jim. Man do I hate guys like the one you described. What a schmuck ! Unfortunately there are quite a few “photographer” jerks around and I’ve encountered a few myself.

  • lol Cheers Stephen.

Superb light, depth and clarity in that foreground pool and superb light throughout, excellent composition too! There’s no accounting for folk Jim, they do the strangest things! ;-)

  • Well you can’t beat a compositional complement (that’s a mouthful) from the master of composition. Many thanks David.
