Beautiful image Jim … perfect time of day … I’ve sat and studied this for ages so I will ask the question … what did you mean by flipping it horizontal (I think I know this) … but why? obviously to improve some aspect but you’ve got me intrigued♥

  • Thank you Bev. Just for you….

Well it all began with a critique of an image of mine called Slow Roller by a really inspirational guy called Craig Tanner who has a website called The Mindful Eye. In the critique he talks about ‘implied visual paths’ and the concept stuck with me. Every now and again I’ll experiment with the technique and this image is one of those experiments. Rather than have me explain the concept maybe you would like to see the critique. You can find it here

I really can’t recommend his site highly enough and hope that you will have a look and explore what he has to say about not just photography.

    Take care
    Jim
