Covesea Colours by Blackgull
Clear

The predominant sandstone in this area of Moray in Scotland has beautiful orange and reddish tones. Orange light after sunset really brings out these colours. This was shot near to a little village called Covesea which is located to the West of Lossiemouth.

As always Jim, lovely shot. Nice colour and lighting in the clouds and nice foreground interest. Looks like another location to check out instead of my usual trip to Hopeman!

  • Thanks Chris. Yes there’s more than Hopeman although those angled flat cut rocks there take some beating. I think that location however is ever so dependant on the state of a tide in conjunction with the light of course.

Love the light on the forground pebbles (or rock in that large one’s case!), the sky’s filled with gorgeous colours and the water movements great as well

  • Many thanks for your great comment Stuart.
