A lot can happen in a month!

Posted 22 days ago

A lot can happen in a month and I’ve been lucky in that 13 of my images have been featured since I last posted a journal and I’ve had three top 10 finishes in challenges. Many many thanks to all involved and a great big THANK YOU to so many for support and comments.

I’ve had websites off and on for a while now but I now have a new site which I’m really plea…

Photography can be such a personal thing.

Posted about 1 month ago

Having an image featured in a group is a special event. I suppose it’s got something to do with the desire to see ones work exhibited and approved by ones peers really. But then Photography can be such a personal thing. Well it is for me anyway. Being able to visualise a final print and then create an image that replicates, not just the vista, but also captures the feelings experienced at that …

I never really know how to deal with featured work. I mean I’m really please to have work featured but never know if I should publicize the fact. Anyway here’s list of this months features along with the Groups that were kind enough to feature them.

I’d also like to mention three photographers which you may have missed along the way. Inspiration at its best. In no particular order

Inspiration

Posted 3 months ago

Inspiration is a powerful thing. Most of us will have taken up photography due to feeling inspired by the work of others and I’m certainly no exception. For me the creativity process comes in waves and troughs and it’s inspiration that brings me out of those troughs.

Been a while

Posted 4 months ago

Hi all. I’ve been lacking in activity over the past month so apologies if I’ve missed any comments. Although I’ve flagged ‘comments and replies’ in my default feed I no longer seem to be getting notification which is a big pain. Anyone else having problems?

Last month was great for me with 20 odd features, 6 placings and 1 first place so a BIG thanks to all for making that happen.

Featured Artist Nikon D80 Users

Posted about 1 year ago

Various images of mine have been featured 14 times in various groups in the month of November and, being photographers, you will understand what great value support like that is. How do you top that? By having the honour to be chosen as a featured artist in the Nikon D80 users group!

It was a special surprise to receive a bubble mail from Chris informing me of this honour and I am very grat…
