Low tide dawn
Another dawn, another tide and another image from the East Beach in Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland. Amazing but I’d never noticed this wreck before.

Fantastic shot Jim! It’s time I started getting out earlier!!
Jim Robertson replied
Thanks for your comment Jacqi. I shouldn’t tell you this but I miscalculated the twilight times and was on the beach an hour early! :-)
Jared Revell
super shot Jim !
the colour in the sky reflecting off the water, with the mountains in the distance…it’s just beautiful.
the wreck is a great foreground interest, well done.
Jim Robertson replied
Jared. Hi and thanks. Really appreciate your comments. The wreck was a bonus. Can’t believe that I’ve never seen it before this morning. It was a really low tide so maybe that’s the reason.
Jared Revell
No worries mate. Isn’t it cool how the difference in tides can change the seascape so much !
Rosalie Scanlon
What an excellent image, the colors are beautiful and the wreck adds a nice touch.
Jim Robertson replied
Hi Rosalie. Thank you. I’m trying to find out the history behind that little wreck.

Thanks David.
Mel Brackstone
You nicked the SS Dicky? Nice find, Jim, love the beautiful backdrop too.
Jim Robertson replied
:-) Not really the Dicky Mel only a cardboard cut-out! Does show potential but only seems to show itself during really low tides.

Mel Brackstone
Ahhh….well at least you know it’s there now, you can plan for it :)

Yes your right Mel. Still trying to find out her name. From what I can make out she’s been there for about 10 years!! How observant am I!
