My train of thought on awaking this morning.

I was looking at my pillow, and i have a friend who is christian and she said to me that she likes to see god in the ordinary everyday things that are not normally looked on as mysterious at all. so I was looking at my pillow and seeing god in my pillow.
Then i thought that my mind is creating the concept of pillow and God and all of my thoughts, everything i see and touch is all concepts in my mind. I then thought that god cannot be in the mind, i was thinking that god is mindlessness, death, no perception no senses, no emotion. Thinking and trying to experince God in this way a feeling of deep euphoria and bliiss came out of my mind. not based on any thought or idea or expectation but coming out of nothingness. i was thinking that nothingness is pure bliss that we can experience in this life too if we have the right awareness. it’s all very inspiring for me. and joyful……..I dont mean god like go to church and pray god. its different.

There are many ways of explaining this, I like to think of it sometimes as thinking with my Thumos, which is an old greek word, for me this word places the seat of mind away from the brain has it arise from the chest. it could be likened to passion but is more aware of itself and so more priveliged.

thumos would rise in battle, and it explains the hallucinations of brain/mind which are more culturally based, thumos, Heart/mind, is not thought, it cannot be percieved but for blackness from which Brain/mind concepts arise.

Kabbalah also speaks of the black point of the heart, which brings about desire to be like God.
God is such a confusing word these days, it’s so full of corruption, no wonder the wise have commited deicide.

yes, but the centre of emotion is not words, it is the body, all comes from body. god, void, blackness, light, all of these are seperate from emotional connotations people imply onto them.

if there is something we do not know (i mean know that we do not know) in the outside world. then there is something we do not know inside us, people are so focused on what they know, they fear the blackness inside, the black point of the heart, because it cannot be known. but yes, every vision is fleeting, no vision is forever, no vision is pure.

people should concieve of nothingness, then i think reality would be more real.

oh yes, exactly! the secret is everywhere in plain sight. and if i can’t see the miracle in a pillow then i will never see it anywhere else either. we invented god but he invented us first :) wonderful writing!

I hope you have a comfy pillow then, and a good nights sleep, I also hope you don’t sleep in.
