I am an amateur photographer. I, like many, used to shoot film, then I stopped shooting for a long while, who knows why. I began again about three years ago when a friend asked me to take a picture of him, his wife, and new baby. I thought digital would be complicated. Nope. I loved it right away and have been shooting ever since. I also teach at a small college, read a good deal, and hike some.
