Disillusioned

Thoughts one night in 2006

Disillusioned belongs to the following groups:

Once up on a time…
I believed I could make a difference
but too many walked the other way.
I dreamed of living in the nature
but it’s poisoned and dying.
I wanted to become invisible, disappear
but the ghosts forced me to stay.

I thought the future would be brighter
but it’s ambivalent and corrupt.
The System has chewed and spit me out.
I’ve become what I didn’t want to be:
A member of the (grey mass) society.

I hope I can make a small difference
that will brighten the future.
I’m dreaming of a world of people
that cares more for the planet
-than money
But I’m just me…
a disillusioned dreamer.
