Based in Sydney, Bize was a young graffiti artist until in the early 90’s, he started practicing as an exhibiting visual artist and freelancing as an illustrator, producing artwork for booklets, posters and t-shirts.
He has also worked in traditional animation and it was while creating a storyboard for an episode he realised he wanted to create comics.
Throughout the 90s he continued to exhibit his work while self publishing mini comix in his spare time. His work has been in exhibitions around Australia as well as the US. The original art from the second issue of his comic was also acquired by the State Library of NSW.
2001 saw a hiatus for his practice and he went off to pursue his passion customising motorcycles, until in 2010 he rediscovered the pleasure of drawing when he submitted work to the comic anthology: “Blackguard”.
He is now working on material to publish a new comic.
