Striking. The hot white light, burning away the mouth and lower features of the face is amazing. The absence of voice, communicating via body language and symbol – butterfly – metamorphosis. The pose is timid and provocative, pushing the viewer back and daring them to come closer. Are seeing the being of the cocoon phrase or the end?
