This is excellent what I would call “Modern Gothic”... though not directly of the very strict “original gothic” style thanks its’ use of nice color, it still makes me a bit uneasy in that really sexy excited way. Beyond this, I find the somehow seperated nature from top to bottom keeps me coming back, and studying each closely for a while – the land of roots at the bottom, the whiter “orb” above, the face. Then, the ways in which they each intersect to make the very complete image whole, well, it just completes my package. I really like this one.

Bites: this is just remarkable. your choice of colors and medium are to be applauded. well done.

Acid etching on zinc plate! I’d love to watch how you do that, Its a very nice piece and I’m sure that digitising it doesn’t do it justice.

Is this the plate or the print? Im a big fan of Albert Durer he got me interested in etching but ive never done it…Did you use wax…etc Cool btw
