    Right! This year is the highest level recorded since records began 70 years ago. And the Bobote River is running again through Maun, and the Savuti channel, which has been dry for 50 years is doing the same. Last high water seen in Chobe/Kasane was in 1963 – I remember the water level halfway up the the bar at the Chobe Safari Lodge.
