And Jesus took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, He asked him if he saw ought.

And he looked up, and said, “I see men as trees, walking.”

After that He put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

This makes my eyes fill with tears for some reason when I see that passage, your work finishes this off so beautifully! Our Lord would be proud, amazing work. x

  • So glad you’re touched, Ravi. :) When I saw this pic after uploading it to my hard drive, that scripture popped into my head. They really do look like men walking ! Looking forward to those festival shots. Get some good ones. :)

What an amazing image, and fabulous use of lensbaby! Love how you’ve stretched those lights out so MUCH!!!

  • I’m totally fascinated with stretching and bending light using the LB! It was freezing cold on this particular night and I could barely see on my LCD. I have to admit, it was pretty much blind shooting. I liked the results though. Thanks for checking it out, Mel. ;)

nice tie in to the new testament but you know when I saw it I thought of the the evil trees in the forest of the movie Wizard of Oz

  • Yeah, I get “creepy” a lot regarding my work. I’m drawn to dark and heavy blacks, shadows, etc. and yes, I can see how you could see that here. Thanks for checking it out. ;)
