And you should, Sandy! It’s a great way to hide imperfections.
Slap a flying bird around the nose area…you know…add some water
around the chin.

Oh my goodness…
I just realized I accidentally added a 0 to my typical
markup price (by accident!!) making a print almost 50 bucks.
EGAD! For those that may have seen it…PLEASE believe,
I would never be so full of myself! Ha….

very cool, very abstract. unique work, birgitta.
Mariam Muradian
It appears a rare find….a treasure….men would sail ships in search of her….pilgrimages and crusades have a cause….she has come to us through legends and ancient writings….oh to possess a portion of her virtues….edifices are built in her name and image….
This is the path of my thoughts when I see this art.
I also think of Jesus in the pancake, or Mary seen in a tree stump….also inspiring to some but in a different way. LOL

this is just so beautiful – i love what came out of this but this one i love – maybe because i am a sucker for portraits and people, whatever the reason this has a great sense of the innocence about it – great work – love your sp.
Judy Gayle Waller

whitecrow
Love those textures! Where’d you grab those from? This makes a terrific abstract portrait. Woohoo, new favorite…!
Paul Gibbons
Outstanding work Birgitta, maybe I should use the individual reply button just to bug ya! OK I was joking that button sucks…. unlike this shot and treatment.
StacyLee

deborah parker
Thats soooo cool!!! took me a while to see the eyes… but once you do… its like wow!!!! I agree with the biblical conotations…. very byzantine??? you are great at the constructed image…. I cant even begin to think in those terms!!!
Stacey Hatton
I actually really like this one too. The angle of your face is nice and the crackly effect makes the image look kind of timeless. (Would be good if your nose was a little more visible though.)
lex7
The texture and tones are brillant … very beautiful.

Beautiful pic, really haunting. reminds me of ‘body tracing’ – a street art intervention used to commemorate those who had ‘disappeared’ in Argentina.
