I do like the picture for itself but also because it reminds me how my son, as his final work, at the end of his secondary education (MacDonald College for the Performing Arts), 2001, produced a kind of primitive cupboard, on the same theme, i.e., the cupboard returning to its roots (If-you-understand-what-I-mean.).
This picture looks as though the leaf is going to blow away, any time!

Brigitta, you have an awesome portfolio which is not only filled with amazing colors, but with a passionate enthousiasm for everything you take on. I’m blown away by how you seem to have a story behind such a wide variety of subjects and events. I love the way my eye falls on the knot and follows the spreading grain to that beautifully colored leaf. You managed to get your message across by skillfully allowing each element an equal importance in your composition. You do great work and I’ll be watching for more!
