This is a stunning synthesis of the photographic, painterly, and literary. By literary I mean it conjures a stark, compelling narrative. It doesn’t lay out the narrative explicity, though, but spurs us to write it ourselves. Your work not only stands up over repeated viewings, it becomes richer.
