Birgitta, smudgery definitely becomes her. What a lovely pact you made, and the fact that you`ve kept it is a tribute to childhood pacts. I`m actually blood brothers with at least 10 kids I`ve never heard from since we pricked our thumbs and pressed them together… jeeze, ya wouldn`t catch anyone doing that these days, yeah?

OK stop me, I`m rambling. This is way original portraiture. The external features are smudged and low in detail and personality… but you let us look through the eyes into the soul. Lovely work.

i think “billyboy” hit the nail on the head…. great story-a picture becomes so much more with a tale to it….great stuff….
i must learn this technic, great results….

Wow! This is stunning Birgitta! I love the technique you have used here.. it gives the portrait the portrait a beautiful etherial quality. Above all I adore the colour of the eyes in this and the fantastic reflection… yes, I viewed large to get a better look and still wanted bigger! I love the tones in this and the look of fire in the bottom right. Not forgetting the wonderful tale to accompany this… Cindy must be over the moon with this! An instant favourite.
