I feel it coming on like a storm brewing
The coldness knocks on my back bone
Outside the window light
Reflects through the half blinds
I open the fridge and drop everything
I open my eyes
To the storm as it swirls
And the feeble creature inside
Stumbles,
Blind as a worm

I feel it coming on like a storm
Brewing beneath my skin
The coldness spreads first through my bones
Then knocking
Knocking
Rattling the bars around my heart
The undertow
Comes and takes me
Away

Reflection
Regret
Freedom
Flight
Soul
Depth
Anger
