Spinifex.
Today I had an urge to photograph my favourite spinifex clump.
they are one of my favourite indigenous plant :)

Interesting! Where was it taken?. There is quite a lot of Spinifex country North of Bourke where I live.

Hi..taken in far SW NSW.. mostly mallee to the Nth of us… this is a little clump which has re-colonised a patch of previously cleared land :)
