This the final proof for the “Little Archies” exhibition coming up soon. The original etching was handpainted, photographed and printed through the computer onto Stonehenge paper. After it was soaked in the bath tub for an hour. The original plate was inked up and then printed again through the press. The results are excellent. Currently at the framers being framed.

Printmaker and Painter on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia.

Nice! What colors did you print in what order?

I printed the apricot brown one first , then the other, then put them together and put them through the digital printer (a friend is a screen printer) then I took that paper, which was stonehenge and put that in the bathtub with image on it to soak for an hour. Then I etched up the plate in purple and took the paper out , dried it off and ran it through the press with plate, one more time. The print now looks 3D and is currently at the framers getting framed up! :)
