This is a portrait of my son Jet and his dog Speedo. Is done in acrylic paint and is on canvas.
I have done so many paintings of my daughter and I figured if I did not do one of my son then 20 years from now he would not remember himself saying, “No way Mum”….he would only remember that he did not have a painting by his mother. So, with sighs and big grunts that only a 12 year old could heave upon his mother. I give you Jet, my gorgeous son and our Fox TERRORIST “Speedo”.
Speedo is not the friendliest of little fellows. He is lovely to us, he likes to dig under the blankets and when you blow on his face he flips over on his back with a big flop. He loves playing chasey around the back garden with his sister Sprinkles and the two of them a delightful to watch. He loves driving in the car and sitting up on the back window. Unfortunantly, little Speedo is only cute with us, yes, he doesn’t llike people patting him, looking at him, he doesn’t like people, dogs, and especially children under the age of 4. He thinks children under the age of 4 are to be feared and attacked. This causes me much grief, so tomorrow, Little Speedo is getting a Hannibal the Cannibal mask and he will have to wear it if he wants to go walkies with me in the future.
