Pastel drawing and yes, its another woman in a landscape, except this one is a Seascape. This is all Pastel…my new medium for the week.
This is NO.1 drawing for Semester 2 at art school. Only another five to go so I’m on my way. I am finding it difficult to try anything new at the moment. Its challenging to say the least. I will probably improve this drawing once its up on the net and I can see it from a distance and I will add some more highlights and lowlights. At the moment I wanted to upload it to my friends as I haven’t uploaded anything in wow, a week or two.
This is STAGE ONE of “Hurricane Woman”.

This is very cool as it sits. The maelstrom aspects, the calm at her eye, the mischievous intent… I am eagerly anticipating the changes! So glad you’ve captured it at this stage too. It is always very interesting to me to see the progressions taken in a work. Thank you for sharing :)
Thanks Anthony, for some reason Ihave to look at it on screen before I can see where I need to add more…I am thinking of moving some blue around the bottom area, just to give it line to follow, just the blue at the bottom or a few more dark lines will finish it in my eyes….need to sit on it for a week I think. Thanks for commenting….I looked at this all day at the easel and now it looks good to me..funny how I need to photograph something in order to see it? B

alluress is not an official word, but thats no reason why you cant use it for a name if you like how it looks/sounds :)…so go for it! :)
also Aqua Allure sounds nice too….
Me? French? Oh yea I am la creme de la creme…HAha…nah, not really, I know a few little words here n there….tried to teach myself french when i was about 18…so i remember a few words…but am really bad at pronounciation as I’ve never met anyone who can speak french to tell me what i’m doing right/wrong lol… :):):)

When you come visit you can talk to My hubby and my daughter as they both speak and pronounce it really well. I can see you speaking French, get lessons, you would do well. I like Aqua Allure also. Thanks I am going with that. B

Thanks Janis, I lie in bed at night thinking of an idea, then I start it with no intention of doing a human body or face and this is what happens every time. I am guessing I will just keep doing them until one day I do something else. I love gorgeous woman’s faces, I can’t help but be captivated by the eyes!
