Belinda, funny, was coming back to respond to your reply to my previous comment about adding a red bird. I was going to ask “on her shoulder or in her hair?” (I pictured a bird on her shoulder). Then read in your reply to the comment above mine that it was to be in her hair! Now that I’ve scrolled down, I see that you are putting a falcon on her shoulder! Boy, what decisions we go through, huh? I’m sure it will be great. You have a good eye for composition. Well, you can always upload it as “Lady of the Night – II”, I guess. lol. Can’t wait to see it! It’s gorgeous, she looks over powered and in control. I like the hawk feathers, such kindred spirits, very well done! :D

Belinda, this “version” (lol, okay, this ‘final’ version!) is beautiful also! The hawk has a personality, as well he should, since he’s apparently her guide. I would die for a hawk guide who had hair-sense! :D

I would keep the other image around too, in case anyone wants a print without the hawk. Belinda, I bet upscale salons would love to have a framed print of this (or the print w/out the hawk) in their shop!! PUT out a brochure or postcard with this and mail it out!! Or take out a small picture ad in a hairdresser trade magazine. You have a ready market for prints of this.

Well, you got your kick in the way of inspiration. Go do it. I’m full of ideas Billy. You can market them here in the U.S. too. My gosh, the world is your apple right now. London, sheesh. I’d say trade journal ads could get you seen in all the right places QUICKLY. And they stay around forever. A single ad I placed in such publications pulled sales for 1.5 years (different market, different product, though). You will need a small color ad (meaning not classified).

Well, maybe just don’t say it’s a falcon, and, yes, people will assume it’s a hawk. There are so many hawk species, probably very few will catch it. :)
