Mixed Media – Acrylic, Collage and finished with Oils. Lots of glazing and experimenting with colour.
“Collage is mostly in the hair. The work is on canvas, the collage is jewerelly from a fashion magazine, material for the butterfly and scrapebook paper for the big flower. The back ground is glazed over to give a twilight effect.
I have repainted the face. She was too pale before, now she is warmer…...I must have done her face a hundred times! Grrrrrrrrrr.

Hm… that’s just given me a bit of an idea, too. It was the talk of glazing. I’m always trying to think of ways to get a certain effect, or another, within the digital art medium and I think I know, now .. maybe .. how to get that shiny, glaze effect. Thanks!
