Lady of the Water - Collagraph Print

This is a Collagraph which I am most proud of…..this is the original colour of the print and instead of rolling it through the press I have made a Monoprint of the actual print. Gosh, what does that mean…well the original plate is run through the press (see blue one). This one however is rubbed off the plate, so the print is not so deep. Its a one off, where as the others are editions. Mmmm, still confused? Hope not. B

I am really surprised also, because this work has and always will be my favorite and my husbands. I did this piece in the most creative way, all experimental. What can I say, you see what I see, your artistic insight is different from others. Thank you for commenting on this one, did you see the one in blue, its more my favorite. Billy

Thanks for commenting on my art AndreJ. I was just popping off to watch “Desperate Housewifes”. I actually did this by getting a huge piece of wood. Glueing things on the board, using glue to write lines with. Then, I rubbed ink all over it and then layed paper over it and pressed out this image. Takes forever!!! This girl I actually made up in my head. Now I don’t even know how I did it! Hey see ya tomorrow night .B
