This is a Drypoint Etching which I finished yesterday. Today I am going to frame it up for the “Little Archies” Exhibtion at Oak HIll Mornington. Wish me luck on that one and if you would like to buy the original than come along to the Exhibition.
This is handpainted WATERCOLOUR on Arches paper. 1/20 at present.

    Hey I just took her to the framers and he is going to do a marvelous job on her.,..the frame he picked was in a deep walnut and thick with a gorgeous chalk matt. She is going to look HOT HOT HOT…....can’t wait to enter her.

    Thanks Leah, drawing is a real challenge for me, once I get passed the drawing then I can make it into a print, which I enjoy so much more.

    absolutely beautiful. you’ve done a wonderful job. Dry point etching? I don’t think I know what that is, excuse my ignorance

    Drypoint etching, its scratching into a plate and not useing chemicals in the process. This particular one is scratched into acetate. Then once I have scratched it away with a drypoint needle, I can then get the correct ink and print as many as I would like up. I like etching, its drawing into a material. B
