Hey guys! Sorry for the inactivity lately. I’ve been quite busy lately, but this weekend I’ll probably have some time to catch up on posting some work. Thanks a ton for all of your comments!
This morning, my Mom woke me up at 5:30 am because she noticed orange light coming in through my window. I rolled out of bed to check out the sunrise, and it was a fiery one! Now, I’m a guy that likes his sleep, but I couldn’t resist shooting this one (one of the only sunrises I’ve ever shot). Put on some clothes, biked up the street, and managed to get a few shots before it faded completely. Opposite the sunrise was a band of outflow coming off of a dying storm. Headed to the highway overpass and snapped some shots.
Gear that really helped me during this shoot was my newly purchased graduated neutral density filter.
After that, it was off to summer school gym (from 7-11am every weekday).
Getting excited for the Fourth of July. Can’t wait to blow some stuff up. Or more importantly, take pictures of stuff blowing up!
More importantly, however, is that fact that we’ll be heading to Colorado in mid-July. I haven’t been there since I was about six, so it’ll be quite a trip. I’ll be sure to get lots of landscape photos for you! (I’m hoping for a vibrant sunset over hazy mountains… and maybe a few storms)
That’s it for now! I’m off to load those sunrise images =]
