The cool thing about having worked so long with film before going digital is that I’ve got a massive archive of negatives that I can browse through to scan when I want to post something new and I’m too lazy to get the camera out and shoot something NEW…
So I went back about 20 years… and found a shot I took in a disco in southern Portugal.
People had started to fill the dance floor after I scared them all off and embarassed my daughter to tears a half hour earlier…
I had my camera with me (duh-uh) and was on a balcony overlooking the dance floor, about to take a flash picture of the rest of the place making fools of themselves… HA!
when suddenly they switched on the strobe light!
I braced the camera on the balcony raiing, zoomed to the widest focal length, left the shutter open for a good second at f5.6.and simply let the house DJ’s strobe do its job on the exposure.
Even the large view doesn’t show the detail… in fact it’s not actually blurred, just multiple shots in diffrerent places on the same frame.

Cheers for looking!
