O is for October’s child…
Born for woe,
And life’s vicissitudes must know,
But lay an opal on her breast,
And hope will lull those woes to rest.

- from the Gregorian calendar of birthstones

The faces are from various photos and were blended in with layer blend effects in Photoshop so that the textures of the leaves look like they’re following the contours of the faces. Basic picture is a forest floor in autumn.

Thanks for noticing this Mel. With the volume of pictures that come through every day at Redbubble, things tend to get buried pretty quickly. This is one of my favorite images so I`m really happy you found it and commented. Cheers, BB!

Was looking for faces and this one caught my eye. The colours help so much! Gosh, 1966. Looks like you’ll be staying in Belgium for a while. Makes me think of the book: Only in Holland. Only the Dutch, written by an American, who (obviously) lived in Holland for a while.
My son works in a recording studio, in Sydney (Gasinc – Marty). Can’t help seeing these links. :)

Yeah, 41 years… 40 years ago I would have thought it was sad to be in a place that long. But life is good here. And your son is in the right business. I’ll drop off a link to our studio in one of your pix. Many thanks for your comment! BB
