Amazingly, for a silly guy holed up in a tiny place called Belgium, my counter just passed 25.000 views. And the only thing more amazing than that is the artists in this awesome talent pool who have considered my stuff to be worth looking at. I am totally chuffed and I want to thank you all for making this place feel like home.
Also I want to wish all of you a happy Easter, or a happy Holiday for anyone who celebrates that instead. Easter has always been a big tradition in my family, but over the years the Funks have ended up scattered over 2 continents… so this Easter, Bev and I are down to dinner with sister Barb. Which will be an amazing session none the less, but unlike everyone else I’ve heard from on RB, there will be no grand travel plans to visit relatives, no barbies on the beach, no Easter egg hunts, and no excursions into the city for the Big Bunnies on parade. In fact, I’ll be at the studio working tomorrow morning, most of the day Sunday, and all day Monday, business as usual. Seems the record industry never sleeps…
SO, this is an invitation to anyone who is stuck with nothing more amazing planned for the long weekend than maybe a roast dinner for 3 and/or uncorking a bottle of something containing more alcohol than water, to drop by my humble Sanctuary for a quick chat, a cup of coffee (beer’s on tap as of 12 PM Sat, Sun + Mon), and whatever else you can find in the fridge… even a cat-nap on the couch if you’re fed up with trying to stay awake. I’ll be on-line all day, every day, either at home or at work!

I have NO idea what ocean I am on…. how sad is that?
I took a different tack with my boys this easter… instead of limiting their chocolate intake I just told them go for it!!! It was actually quite amusing to watch. Especially my eldest. He couldn’t sit still, one minute he is watching TV, next minute he is off outside riding his bike, then he is up in his room playing with his toys, then back downstairs and outside to ride the bike again…
He came crashing down off his chocolate high at about 3pm. So I took them all to the beach =))
I have been VERY good… only 8 little caramel eggs. (I won’t mention the choclate scarfing sessions that have been held every evening for the last week after the boys are in bed ;))
