When I put their album on, it straps me to the chair, sticks gaffer tape on my mouth, throws a bucket of ice cold water in my face and zaps 220 volts through my pelvis.

I’ve spent about half an hour listening to various songs of theirs and I have to say I like them. Except for the monkey. I just don’t like monkeys. They freak me out. Which probably means . . . it’s successful. :D

This is hyper energization at it`s very best. It`s the kind of energy I got tapped into back in the 70`s when Grand Funk brought out their first live album… their studio work sucked in my opinion, but NOTHIN could match the power of their early stage gigs.
Shakaponk are fusion, which means they are neither one thing nor the other really. And unfortunately that`s the reason they don`t sell as much as mainline stuff. But they kick my ass around the farken block and it`s cool you seem to get the same.
