Key West Cats
This is supposedly the southernmost house on mainland USA. It’s in Key West where it was illeged that Ernest Hemmingway was given a 6-toed cat from a sailor passing through. Over the years, the island became populated with cats with 6 toes… which shows you what cats are really doing when we’re not looking…
Anyway, when I went to take this picture of the famous house, of course the cats had to get in the act. I didn’t bother counting the toes because these cats are actually imported from Belgium, Portugal and England, courtesy of Photoshop.

I’ve had some cats who’s paws were polydactyl. They had seven toes on their front paws. Of course they never lived in a house as beautiful as this one. And they wouldn’t have gathered so obligingly for a group portrait. Well then, neither did these, but you sure made it look as though that happened. As usual, great work BB. Meow!

Those damn Belgians and their 6-toes cats. You guys still got Charlemeagne buried there ? He had a thing for cats. That houses looks so clean, almost Disneyesque ! Very vibrant image mate.

Flame, I had no idea we had Charlemagne buried here… wouldn’t have happened if I’d been around. Think I was in St. Petersburg at the time… and you KNOW that everything in Florida is Disneyesque!
