Pedals!
Yup, still workin’ on our studio promotion book!!
This time it`s the guitar effects pedals… we`ve got well over 500 of them!
So not easy to figure out a way to show them all without going way over the top, but at the same time let our guitar wielding customers know we`ve got lots of candy to keep `em sweet.
SO, we decided to take about 100 of the coolest ones and get some closeups of the best features. It took me a while to figure out how to place eveything on the A3 size page so all the vertical and horizontal shots fit, but once I got the format sussed it was just a question of getting anal and cropping and sizing all the takes to order.
We`re hoping this picture will attract the enthousiasts and intrigue them as to what our studio has to contribute to their musical inspiration. It`s kinda fun to look deep and pick out the details… lots of guitarists will recognize lots of the pedals. One of the most revered manufacturers, ZVex, did a custom bass pedal for me with american flag motif and a personalized signature… top and bottom of that one are midway down on the left side. Doesn`t get much cooler than that!!!

Ahhh Billy!!! Eye Candy indeed!!!!! This is a phenomenal display of color and detail … your guitar enthusiasts will be flocking to your door!!! My guitar is acoustic and I haven’t picked it up in years … yet I’m tempted to stop by and check out the wares myself!!!! Way to GO!!!!

And yeah, the names are kinda cool, especially the Butt probe… you would not BELIEVE the instruction manual that comes with that one!
Seems also that pedal makers are big on Balls too…
But the most amazing’s gotta be the Woman Tone, bottom right… of course the nipples light up when you stomp!!

The Super Hard-on is by the same guy that did my custom bass pedal… this guy is as mad as they get. Fortunately there’s no known cure. But the guy who did the artwork is actually worse. Actually used to paint on canvas with his own blood. Having said that, looking at the music industry as a whole, both of them are comparatively stable!

You mean like those stoopid things where you`ve gotta slide the plastic squares with one space missing to line up the picture?? I actually used to remove the squares, line `em up and put `em back! And Rubik cubes?? I`ve got one in the shape of Homer Simpson in my Sanctuary that you twist around, just like a Rubik cube… total TRIP… scrambled it up on New Years Eve 2007 and his stoopid face is still on the back of his head!!
So simple answer… no I`m NOT!

Amazing idea, but I`d have to shell out LOTS of money going through every machine in every public toilet in Germany to find the good ones… like the ones in the little black box with the cartoon called BillyBoy…!! could probably get some free JPEGs off the web, but what would be the fun in that? So yeah, cool idea… could be an idea for a collab… and you could use a vacation in Germany, yeah??

Hmmm, an interesting and busy composition, Bill. Lots of eye candy certainly, but let’s hope there’s no toffee involved otherwise feet might get stuck!
It looksd like there are two versions of the same one – the red, textured one on the lower left (yours?) and again in the middle, next to the pink question mark – and one maker seems to like his logo, the kid wearing the red baseball cap – that’s in there twice!
I think that once all those enthusiasts see this little array, they’ll beating a path to your door to see what other sweetness you have hidden away in your “Office”.
LOL @ Mel’s second comment, I can’t find that one! There are some really wonderful names in there, too.

The guy with the baseball cap is on the Jonny Octave (it`s an octaver by ZVex), his standard version being the purple one in the pic. He did a special version for John with an American flag like my bass pedal, but kept the face on it so you`d know what it was. Mine`s a Wooley Mammoth (original is middle, third up from bottom, just above the HOAX), but there`s no mammoth on mine so nobody but me knows what it really is!!!
And the Super Hard-on is middle horizontal row, second from right. Does exactly what it says on the tin…!!
