Scanface
Quin 10 asked me if I was the face on my T-shirt. The answer is a definitive YES, and so I thought I’d gross everyone out and post the image I used.
I had nothing better to do one night, so I put my face down on my flatbed scanner and pushed the button. It took a couple of tries, but I found that if you move your head to maintain a uniform distance from the glass following the scanner light, you can get pretty good focusing and some cool effects, especially with the hair.
Hope this inspires others to try!!
PS—keeping your eyes open during the scan will NOT make you impotent. It might even improve fertility!

How did you think off this!!!!!, anyway its a great effect very good work, you know if you bought a digital camera you would not need to stick your face in scanner :-).

Rich, if I had a digital camera that gave me a result as distorted as this, I wouldn`t even bother having it repaired!

Have had some fun with photocopiers at my work like this, but wow, you really seem to have mastered the bar tracking. It kind of looks satanic and evil, but I like it. Try experimenting with some stretching by varying your movement speed? I don’t know.. but this is a cool shot.

Don’t know what YOU’ve been photocopying, but you should def post it. I’ve got family in Boulder and they tell me people there just don’t do that kind of stuff.
