Israel
History begins and ends with Israel. This is a portrait of Israel, for she is majestic although she may be searching for her identity. In the Bible, Israel is likened onto a young lion. I have seen even lions unsure of who they were, and so it is with people.
Israel belongs to the following groups:
Big Cats, Living Christianity, Religious Art & Photography and Spiritual Art Available for sale asGreeting Cards, Matted Prints, Laminated Prints, Mounted Prints, Canvas Prints, Framed Prints and Posters

Most don’t know it, but lions seems to really react to me when I try and take their pictures.
I have seen lions even at a zoo see me and run for cover. What does that mean?

I was about to drop a note on my observations on your image and see your comment here! I believe it means that they have self awareness. Perhaps, like many German Shepherd Dogs and other breeds and species, they have an innate fear of having something pointed at them, such as a camera or a firearm. It is possible the big cat may associate your camera with an unpleasant memory which has conditioned the animal to fear the object and when he sees it the object triggers his response to flee. The depth of this image is extraordinary! It is a beautiful portrait of a magnificent Lion!
