In Mexico, the Day of the Dead is an annual celebration of the transition from death into a new life. It is believed that on this one day a year, communication between the dead and the living does occur. Inspired by the cubist movement from the early 20th century, I broke down the markings of time from the typical household calender and incorporated it into the design.
