    The perspective which suggests the violin might be too short and stout to fit in the elegantly long case is very dramatic and utterly effective. Not sure if you meant this, but it’s what I think of!

    The idea was to paint the object from several different positions….and combining it in one image. I was quite satisfied with the result. Thank you everyone for your feedback. And David, you are right…. there is a drama or tension created by the forshortening and the length of the case… .
