The remote outback region of Australia has always drawn me back time after time with a new challenge to capture this incredible landscape with it’s brilliant colours of light and shadows through my camera lens. These days I alternate between remote rainforests searching out isolated waterfalls or exploring the Australian outback in an effort to photograph regions unfamiliar with most. Although usually alone, the challenge of finding different locations inspires me. I take considerable time with any shot and may spend hours on end perched on a remote ridge or in a thick rainforest waiting for the right moment to strike. The right lighting is essential in my opinion.

I use a Pentax K20 D with Pentax and Sigma lenses.
