I’m something of a motorhead, hence the name Biker, but I also love cars. So I tought I’d have a crack at doing a Hot Rod pin-up. This was my first attempt. the orginal A4 size paper cramped my style so in the enlarging process I filled the rest of the car in with some airbrush work using photoshop. This too was my first attempt at using an artistic technique via a computer. Rather pleased with the result too.
It was by accident rather than design that the detail of the car were left out. I tend not to know when a piece is finished. Know what I mean? I’m too close to the paper sometimes, if I take a break and then wander back to the paper I often see things I need to correct before the ink is applied, in this particular pic I just stopped for a lunch break and figured I’d do the car after eating, however on returning to it a bit later I realised I didn’t need to. The pic looked perfectly fine as it was. Than god for my rumbling belly that day Hehehehe!
