Mad Max Interceptor Supercharger

There are just a few iconic cars in the film industry but ranking top amongst them (IMHO) has got to be the Interceptor, based on the Australian V8 Ford Falcon XB Coupé muscle car and much modified to be used in the first two Mad Max films, with its black on black paintjob, distinctive side pipes and of course the blower! The Supercharger!

The caption above the picture is of course what Jim Goose says to the mechanic when Max is first introduced to the car.

If you’re a petrol head, like me, then you will probably recognise this drawing instantly. Hopefully you’ll like it enough to actually buy a T shirt with it on.

This drawing was done on 160g paper in varying soft graphite pencils with the text added post scanning via Photoshop. This design was taken from a photo I’d had of a friend’s car who has spent a lot of time and money making a very accurate replica version of Max’s Interceptor. Hope you like it Adrian!
